Where It All Began
Geier Financial Group was started in February, 1990 by company president Joseph N. Geier. Initially formed as an accounting firm for small businesses and high net worth individuals, Joe quickly gained a reputation as a top tax accountant for professional athletes. His first professional athlete client was Jeff Ballard of the Baltimore Orioles. Soon thereafter, other young Orioles followed Joe to the practice. Using his CPA and financial management background, Joe expanded the firm to provide comprehensive financial services including financial planning and investment management to both athlete and non-athlete clients.
 Present Day Geier Financial Group
The business now employs 19 full time staff members, with several holding professional designations, and handles the tax, investment, financial planning, and family office needs of our clients. We now manage over $180 million dollars for approximately 181 clients. We attribute our significant growth to our "Client First" attitude and commitment to top quality client service.
